Mike Alboucq Obituary, Death Cause – It was Stewart A. Alboucq. The Kindred Hospital Philadelphia, Havertown was the location where Stewart A. “Q” Alboucq, 61 years old, died away on Sunday, October 16th. He was a resident of Mahoning Valley. She was married to Karen A. (Karas) Alboucq. He was her spouse. One year from now, on November 1st, they would have been married for 41 years. According to his parents, Patricia (Adams) Alboucq of Washington State and the late Louis Alboucq, he was born in Clarkston, Washington.
He was a member of the SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Lehighton, as well as the American Legion Post 314 in Lehighton and its Vietnam War Last Man’s Club, where he had served as a sergeant-at-arms in the past. In addition to coaching both the Franklin Township Little League and the Lehighton Area Booster Club Navy football team, Alboucq gave his time with the Lehighton Area Pool Pals. He also coached the kids in the Lehighton Area. The Lehighton Indians, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Philadelphia Phillies were all great sports teams that “Q” followed with great enthusiasm.
Spending time with his devoted wife and family, as well as bringing his grandchildren fishing, was something he looked forward to doing. In addition to his mother and widow, he is survived by two sons, Brian and his wife Natalie, who reside in Lehighton, and Sean and his companion Meaghan Flynn, who reside in Doylestown; a sister named Debra, who is married to Bob Bacon; a brother named Terry and his wife Lina.
His father passed away. During the Vietnam War, he received the rank of Special Platoon 4 while serving our country in the United States Army. He began his career in railroad service with the Reading Railroad, where he worked as a rail hand. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, which is located at 242 N. Third Street in Lehighton. The Reverend Michael E. Ahrensfield will preside over the ceremony. Lehighton Area UVO is in charge of the arrangements for the interment, which will take place at SS.
