  • In 1994, he made his debut in the film Mera Pyara Bharat.
  • Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Chandrachur Singh, Sharad Kapoor co-starred as Prakash Sharma in the 2000 Hindi-language romantic action film Josh. The film became the 5th highest-grossing film of 2000 in India and Sharad Kapoor was nominated for a Filmfare Award as well as an IIFA Award in the “Best Villain” category.
