Young Thug Announces New Music Video Featuring Juice WRLD

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Juice WRLD famously passed away in December 2019 not long after he got off of an airplane that was being searched by the cops on allegations of drug trafficking.

Juice collapsed while on his way out of the Chicago O’Hara International Airport, and his posthumous record, Legends Never Die, went to the top of the charts after it was released.

While many of his fans and followers undoubtedly appreciate the music, including many of the collaborations he has been on since he died, some people have claimed that Juice WRLD – among other dead rappers –  is merely being used for clout at this point.

Whether this is true or not, Young Thug appears entirely unbothered by it. The rapper came out to reveal that he had a new music video featuring Juice WRLD. As most know, the Legends Never Die rapper‘s work ethic and his commitment to the art and the process is part of what has made him so legendary.

A consequence of this is that he left behind a large archive of unreleased songs that are begging for features and publishing. Earlier in the week, Hot New Hip Hop reported, Cole Bennett, the Lyrical Lemonade director, teased an up and coming music video called, “BAD BOY,” starring Juice and Thugger. Apparently, it’s going to come out on Friday. Young Thug also shared the cover art on his IG this Wednesday.

Another artist who recently dropped a song featuring the late Juice WRLD is Eminem, who released his second last project, Music To Be Murdered By, at the start of 2020 in January.

Eminem released the album to better reception compared to the record prior, Kamikaze. However, some people, like it was already noted above, accused Eminem of using Juice WLRD’s name and legacy to make more sales for his own project.

Eminem released the song, “Godzilla,” which featured Juice WRLD not long after he died in the Chicago O’Hara airport. The legendary rapper never responded to the criticism, although, he did comment on the remix of the song that was uploaded to YouTube.
